The verbal paradigm has three forms which may be used in positions in which adjectives appear. They are listed below, with an example of each:

  • Present participles, such as sliepstäitjend ‘dejected’
  • Past participles, such as holich ferslieten ‘half worn out’
  • To-infinitives, such as nittou bruken ‘not to use > obnoxious, unpalatable’
