Adjectival synthetic compounds
quickinfo

Most synthetic compounds are adjectives. They are ordered here on the basis of the first element. So, the formation beginning with a noun comes first, followed by three topics with an initial adjective, one with an adposition, and finally four topics with a numeral as first member.

As to the choice of the suffix, the second lexical category is more important, it would appear. Nouns are most relevant here, but two patterns have a verb.

A broad array of suffixes is used: -e (two times), -end, -ich, -liks, -s and -sk (two times).
