Possessive pronouns
quickinfo

Possessive pronouns are distinguished and listed on the basis of their person, number and gender features. Possessive pronouns may not always be realised and they cannot freely refer to inanimate, non-personal antecedents. The possessive adjective eigen own turns a possessive pronoun into an anaphor. Postmodification of possessive pronouns is not possible (see impossible postmodification).
