Personal names can be used in a construction designating a group of persons associated with a specific individual. The construction has the form of a coordination consisting of the proper name as its first element, followed by the conjunct, followed by a plural pronoun as the second element of the coordination. This construction is called the associative, see J. Hoekstra (2022).
