Hylpersk (Dutch: Hindeloopens) and Skiermûntseagersk (Dutch: Schiermonniksoogs) are two peripheral dialects of Frisian: Hylpersk and Skiermûntseagersk. Hylpersk is spoken in the town of Hylpen, in the south-west tip of the province of Fryslân (Dutch: Friesland). Skiermûntseagersk is spoken on the isle of Skiermûntseach, on the border of the provinces of Groningen and Fryslân. These two dialects deviate from Standard Frisian with respect to adjectival agreement, as well as in other respects.
