These qualificational modifiers are not specifically restricted to Adposition Phrases (PPs), but are found with other categories as well. Like other modifiers, their canonical position is preceding the PP, as illustrated below.

Example 1

a. Allinnich by de terp op gie noch wol
only at the mound up went DcP DcP
Only up the mountain was not a problem yet
b. Krekt by de terp op gie noch wol
precisely at the mound up went DcP DcP
It was precisely up the mound which was not yet a problem

They may not occur in between postpositions and their complements, as shown in the example below.

Example 2

a. *By de terp allinnich op gie noch wol
at the mound only up went DcP DcP
Only up the mountain was not a problem yet
b. *By de terp krekt op gie noch wol
at the mound precisely up went DcP DcP
It was precisely up the mountain which was not yet a problem

The adverb weragain, however, is like Noun Phrase (NP) modifiers in that it may be found either preceding or following the complement of a postposition, as shown below:

Example 3

a. Wer by de terp op gie noch wol
again at the mound up went DcP DcP
It was again up the mound which was not yet a problem
